Enel X Romania, the advanced energy services division of the Enel Group, has completed the installation of three photovoltaic panel systems in the localities of Sebiş and Arad, following a total investment of over 500,000 euros, the company said in a statement.
Ignitis Gamyba, a company managed by the international energy company Ignitis Group, has completed the installation of a 3 MW solar power plant near Elektrėnai in Obeniai in Lithuania.
The government has adopted the “Electric Up” program, companies such as SMEs in the HoReCa field can access a non-reimbursable financing of up to 100,000 euros for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems and electric charging stations.
The Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests announced the launch of a Program on increasing energy efficiency and intelligent energy management in public buildings for schools, funded by the Environment Fund. Through this program, schools and kindergartens in Romania can be thermally insulated and energy efficient.
