Banca Europeană pentru Reconstrucție și Dezvoltare (BERD) acordă un împrumut garantat de stat de până la 28 milioane de euro companiei Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem (CGES) pentru modernizarea stației electrice Brezna din nord-vestul Muntenegrului.
Puncte cheie:
- Proiectul va permite integrarea a 400 MW de energie regenerabilă în rețeaua națională.
- Va reduce pierderile de transmisie cu 13 GWh/an.
- Va îmbunătăți aprovizionarea cu electricitate în Muntenegru și regiune.
- Implică instalarea a două transformatoare de putere și conectarea lor la rețeaua națională.
- Va crește capacitatea instalației la 400/110 kV.
- Face parte din planul de dezvoltare a coridorului Trans-Balcanic.
- UE oferă un grant de 1,05 milioane de euro pentru studii și proiectare.
- BERD și UE vor oferi oportunități de consolidare a capacităților pentru piața de energie regenerabilă.
Acest proiect este parte din investițiile continue ale BERD în Muntenegru, totalizând 846 milioane de euro în 88 de proiecte din 2007.
