Hidroelectrica atribuie contractul pentru retehnologizarea hidrocentralei Vidraru
Hidroelectrica a anunțat că a atribuit contractul pentru retehnologizarea Amenajării Hidroenergetice Vidraru, una dintre cele mai importante investiții în infrastructura energetică a României. Contractul, evaluat inițial la 188,7 milioane de euro (fără TVA), a fost câștigat de un consorțiu condus de Electromontaj, alături de Koncar – Engineering Co. Ltd. for Production and Services și Butan Grup, pentru suma de 188,38 milioane de euro (fără TVA).
Hidrocentrala Vidraru, cu o capacitate instalată de 220 MW, este crucială pentru sistemul energetic național, contribuind la reglajul putere-frecvență și asigurând servicii de sistem. Inaugurată pe 9 decembrie 1966, centrala utilizează potențialul hidroenergetic al râului Argeș pe o lungime de 28 km între Cumpăna și Oiești, valorificând o cădere de apă de 324 metri. Lacul de acumulare are un volum total de 465 milioane de metri cubi, dintre care 320 milioane de metri cubi reprezintă volumul util.
La momentul inaugurării, barajul Vidraru era al cincilea ca mărime în Europa și al nouălea în lume. Amenajarea produce anual aproximativ 400 GWh de energie electrică.
